Quakertown Community Day

Today I entered my Midget into the Quakertown Community Day car show at Memorial Park. Overall, it was a good time and I got to talk with a lot of different people. I spoke with Dave from Ragtops and Roadsters who admitted that his boss was making a conscious effort to cater more towards high end clients. Jaguar and Rolls-Royce owners and the like. He was a nice guy though, and invited me to America's British Reliability Run (abrr.org).

Upon registering my car, I received a raffle ticket. There were 17 winners, and I was one of them, receiving a $25 gift certificate to rockauto.com. They have Midget and Mini stuff there, so I should be able to find something to buy.

There weren't many other British cars there. Just two Lotuses. Mainly American stuff.

I had a good time and I plan to attend next year. Possibly with a Mini?!

Try shooting for a painted Midget for next year's show. You should also put together a book to show, but not a boring book like some people. Show how much fun the car is to DRIVE and how you commute to work and stuff. A nice looking classic car that is actually driven...that is worth seeing in a book.

And then I'll drive your Mini and both your cars can be parked next to each other.

I just noticed how ridiculously large that blue car looks next to your car. It doesn't even really make your car look small, but rather it looks so big.
